The
Basic and Advanced courses of Psychology at
Russian Grandmaster Chess School
The
modern chess is inconceivable without deep study
of psychology. The schoolboys of Grandmaster
School after these two courses increase the
rating ELO on 250 - 270 average. The majority
GM’s with a rating 2600+ have in the team the
personal professional psychologist, which
accompanies with them on all tournaments. Count
up, how many chessgames you have lost "casually"
to weaker contenders. After these two courses
there will not be such defeats. Besides you
learn to beat the stronger opponents' which do
not own special psychological preparation. On a
FIDE World Championship (Las Vegas, 1999)
regularly there were "sensations" on
participation with GM Alexander Khalifman and GM
Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu. And reason of their
success - special psychological program on this
tournament. The long introduction here is not
necessary. You are convinced of all during
employment.
